Pushed for a year’s sabbatical traveling the year with her family of four.
Annie…Your blog is fabulous!! I can tell how excited you are for this trip. (I say “cannonball”!) Thank you for setting up the blog so that we can travel vicariously through you. Funny you mentioned New Zealand…Ron and I are tentatively planning to
go there next Spring. (mostly hiking, biking and kayaking) So…have a super trip!!!!! Love, Chris
My kids still recall Lamu as paradise. Enjoy!!!!
Looks like a great time. See you in a year!!
My God, it’s only 10 1/2 months before I have to be back. It’s already flying by. Thanks for visiting the site. Tell everyone in L&D hello from me.
I can just picture you playing in the maze of hedges! Having such fun reading about your trip,
You are inspiring me even more as I wait in the apple store in WC waiting to get my iPhone fixed.
Loved the zip line joy. Loved all the food photos. looks like an amazing adventure
Miss you around JM
Annie, I knew you would love Turkey. This is going to be a fun year to hear about.
We will be expecting you to bring us dinner at least once a week when you return now that you have found so many new foods!
Happy New Year! It’s been fun following you guys. Seeing your pictures reminded me how much I miss Nepal (spent 4 months there at the end of med school doing eye camps in the Annapurna region (never got over to the Everest side)). We just got back from 2 weeks in Provence. Keep it up, the blog is fun to read.
Thanks for the comment, Mike. Someday we’ll have to meet up in this big wide world.
Hi Annie! It’s Kellie. We met in Chiang Mai and having matching back packs. 🙂 Delaney and Cat have been staying in touch. We are back in Birmingham and back to the daily grind. It sucks! I am having serious travel withdrawals and thought I’d see where you are. I just read your Day in BKK post and nearly wet my pants. I’m so bummed that we saw the Grand Palace and missed the grand penises. We are ready to plan a much longer trip, and your blog is just the inspiration we need. Keep on blogging!
Hi there Annie, stumbled across your blog by accident looking for images of Indian kids playing hockey. So, I was wondering if I could use one for a project I’m working on, of course I’d give you a credit, but this is speculative and only when going to publish, would the image be used, would that be okay?
Amir – I don’t think that should be a problem. If you do publish something let me know so I can see what you’ve done, though. Thanks.
